Free Yourself

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness - John 1:9

Why do you continue to beat yourself up? When we don't forgive ourselves of things we've done wrong in the past, we will continue our lives as if tethered to a boulder. It will weigh you down and keep you from moving forward in life. If you are truly regretful of the sin, you've already paid the price for it and so has Jesus. You don't have to continue paying that price. You are worthy of the Lord's forgiveness, because He, Himself, has told you so.
