Body of Christ

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. - Philippians 2:1-2

Think about a time when someone treated you with intense kindness. A moment when someone put down everything they were doing to help you with something you needed and poured on grace above and beyond that. To them, you could tell that you were the only one in the room. How did you feel when you walked away from that conversation? Chances are you probably left in a pretty good mood!

Let us then take a moment to remember that we as Christians are the body of Christ. When we show ultimate compassion, love, and kindness to others, we are showing others who Christ is with our actions. Let's put away words of criticism and harshness, and begin speaking words of life to everyone around us! Let us gently build each other up so they may be equipped to do the work of Christ.
